  1. Varmint's Audio Tools (VAT) is a small Sound Blaster programming Kit.
  2. It's primary feature is an DSP interrupt/DMA driven core that handles
  3. real-time mixing and playing of digital sounds, background MIDI
  4. music, and background MOD music.   It also supports MPU-401 output, 
  5. many FM chip routines, input functions for WAVE samples and MIDI music 
  6. files, and auto recognition and setup of Sound Blaster compatable cards. 
  7. 4.5 millisecond clock and microsecond accuracy timers. VAT is Freeware 
  8. and comes with source and example code (Turbo C). VAT is intended for 
  9. all programmers who  want to easily incorperate sound effects and music 
  10. into their DOS programs.
